About Me

When I was growing up, I always saw my Dad with his camera in his hand. He loved to document everything happening in our lives. I remember him taking pictures of my Mom, my siblings and I at every key moment. Every vacation we went on, his camera was in tow capturing every beautiful sunset over the ocean, down to our messy campfire smores.

This stirred something in me as I grew. I too, loved to document things. All through college, I would bring my camera, video camera and my voice recorder wherever I would go. As I got married and became a Mom, my desire to photograph my kids really became overwhelming. Shortly after this, my Dad became terminally ill with cancer and passed away. My Mom gave me one of his cameras, and when I went back home to Nebraska, I started taking pictures of everything I could. I learned the ins and outs of shooting manually and honed in on my skills. Every time I wanted to learn a new technique or skill, I would research online and then practice until I got it perfect. It wasn't long until people were paying me to take their pictures.

In 2014 I shot my very first wedding, and my life was changed. I had found exactly what I wanted to do with my life! It came so naturally to me and I loved every minute and detail throughout the day. I knew then, that this is what my business would specialize in.

Now, in 2020 I have shot close to 100 weddings and have been published numerous times in local wedding magazines and blogs. I have been lucky enough to win The Knot's 'Best of Weddings' award 4 years in a row and landed in the Hall of Fame just this past year. I have worked hard to network with the best wedding vendors in Nebraska and have earned a seat in the Nebraska Wedding Vendors Association.
