Sarah & Grant| In-home lifestyle Engagement Session

When I first met with Sarah, she mentioned that they would like an in-home lifestyle engagement session, and my eyes lit up! I was so excited to be able to use their home to create a fun and comfortable experience for them.

Grant made Sarah’s engagement ring by hand! Talk about romantic!

Christmas music filled the air in the kitchen as these two danced sweetly.

Their sweet pup Ruby was all in! She loved being in front of the camera!

Grant and Sarah are both musicians and love playing together.

Thank you for welcoming me into your home! I cannot wait for September to roll around for your wedding!

Louie & Logan|The Omar|Omaha Wedding Photographer

Logan and Louie got married on a beautiful July day in Omaha. They had their dogs join us for pictures!

The downtown Residence Inn has intricate details that made getting these detail shots perfect!

When I first arrived at the hotel room where the girls were getting ready, Logan was busy sewing her veil. She was very calm and collected despite being on a timeline.

Logan had a special rooftop First Look with her Bridesmaids!

Over at the Church, Louie was getting ready and patiently waiting for the Ceremony to start.

Logan had 2 more special First Look moments before the Ceremony, one with her Dad and one with her Brother.

Finally, the ceremony began. Louie laid eyes on Logan for the first time as she walked down the aisle. The Ceremony was so sweet and beautiful.

Logan and Louie couldn’t imagine not having their furry family join them for pictures.

So in love and so happy…

The Wedding Party was so fun and the blush pink is so dreamy!

Sweet moments filled our portrait time, as these two reflected on their big day!

The Reception took place at The Omar and was decorated with very tailored details.

The First Dance was just beautiful!

There was a final surprise that Logan’s Dad arranged. The bride and groom and half the guests were Creighton Alumni, so who better to crash the Reception that Billy Bluejay himself?!?!

Louie and Logan, thank you for sharing your day with me! I am so happy that I got to be a part of your wedding day! I loved all the details and special moments throughout the day! Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness!

Jonathan & Rebekah | Arbor Hall | Omaha Wedding Photographer

Love is in the air! Jonathan and Rebekah have one of the cutest meet-cute stories you’ll ever hear! A fake proposal and a famous sugar packet that even made it’s way to their wedding day!

RK-46

Rebekah and Jonathan first met at a college church conference on January 3, 2014. She attended by herself and Jonathan went with some friends from the fraternity. Rebekah sat down at a table and was playing Head’s Up, when she invited the table next to her to join (where Jonathan was sitting). They really hit it off, and the 4 of them went to the Cheesecake Factory.

Jonathan decided to fake proposed to Rebekah, and sang the song “Baby, Just Say Yes” to get her to say yes to the fake proposal. For the rest of the 3 day conference they acted as if they were engaged, holding hands and laying the pick up lines on thick. At one point Jonathan even dropped a sugar packet on the ground and said, “I think you dropped your name tag, Sugar”.

Following the conference they Skyped every night, and he joined in on her family’s daily devotions. A little less than 2 weeks later, he asked her to be his girlfriend. They met for the first time as boyfriend and girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, 2014 and shared their first kiss.

On June 3, 2017, Jonathan got down on one knee and asked Rebekah to marry him. He had put the ring in the same sugar packet that he dropped on the floor when they first met. He used the same cheesy pickup line and said, “I think you dropped your name tag” and when she picked it up it said, ‘Mrs. Eaton’ instead of ‘Sugar’. She opened it up and found the ring inside.

Rebekah’s wedding details were stunning!

This is the famous Sugar packet that has been with them throughout their years together!

The First Look

It was so easy capturing their love and personalities. They are just perfect together.

We jumped over to Standing Bear Lake for the Wedding Party pictures. It was so gorgeous and made for some beautiful images. This group sure was fun to work with!

The Ceremony was so reverent and beautiful as Rebekah and Jonathan said their vows to one another.

After the Ceremony the guests greeted them with handfuls of dried lavender!

Arbor Hall was so elegant and beautiful!

The First Dance was perfectly choreographed!

The rest of the evening was filled with sweet sentimental moments and fun dancing!

Rebekah and Jonathan, thank you SO much for choosing me as your photographer! Your love story is so perfect and I can’t wait to see how it grows and develops over the coming years! So thankful that our paths crossed! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Logan & Jessica | Engaged | Lincoln Wedding Photographer

Logan and Jessica had lived around the block from each other in Falls City, Nebraska all of their lives. They have a few childhood memories of each other, but they really didn’t connect until High School.

Logan was a freshman and Jessica was a sophomore. They were connected through mutual friends and started talking and hanging out at track practice. Sure enough, Logan decides to ask Jessica out. It was during a long distance run, with his mouth full of Fruit Roll Ups, he says “will you go out with me?” Jessica, of course said yes. It was April 6th, 2009.

The Capital building was such a beautiful location for the session. We found our way all over the building and grounds.

You can tell that Logan and Jessica have such a strong and lasting love.

Logan and Jessica,

In just a couple short months you will be at such a wonderful milestone in your relationship. I can’t wait to join you both as you say, “I Do!”

Daneis & Mallory | Harvest Moon Farm | Nebraska Wedding Photographer

ELEVEN dogs, ONE horse, TWO peacocks, a bounce pillow, a raging storm and a sparkler exit made this the perfect wedding day! I had my lovely second photographer, Heidi Hoffman of Pine and Forge with me for this fun adventure.

MH-1019

Mallory had two beautiful gowns that she donned for her special day.

The details at Harvest Moon Farm are out of this world amazing! So many fun and charming areas to use.

Mallory and Daneis had a special ‘First Look’ in this little secret garden area.

Mallory’s horse Ebby joined them for some portraits on the big day.

What a fun group of people. It was sweltering hot, but so gorgeous everywhere.

The ceremony was so personal and filled with all of their furry family members!

The dogs were all dressed up for a night on the town!

As the ceremony procession began, the dogs and Wedding Party made their way over the bridge and down the aisle. Mallory was escorted by her horse Ebby and her Father.

The exchange of Vows…

After the Ceremony the Wedding Party really let loose out on the bounce pillow!

The Reception barn was beautiful and kids enjoyed running around the farm.

The First Dances

Soon, a storm rolled in and the rain poured down. The grounds and parking lot were flooded within a few minutes, but surprisingly, it didn’t put a damper on the party. Dancing and laughter filled the barn and grounds for hours.

Mallory and Daneis, thank you SO much for such a great adventure! Your wedding takes the cake! I’m so honored that you chose us to capture your day and we hope we did it justice! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Trell & Janelle | Omaha Wedding Photographer | Starlight Chateau

It was sweltering hot on Janelle and Trell’s wedding day, but oh, was it gorgeous! Everything was green and there were still hints of flowers blossoming around the venue.

kdp-3330

The Starlight Chateau is a hidden little gem in Omaha. It’s filled with historic grandeur and beauty.

Janelle and Trell had such a wonderful group of family and friends to help them celebrate and take care of last minute details before the vows.

They had a sweet ‘First Look’ moment and after that it was love and laughter the rest of the day!

Janelle chose such beautiful details!

These two are so perfect together and together they make such a beautiful family with their children.

The Wedding Party was awesome! We had so many great spaces to work with and such beautiful and fun people!

The Ceremony was a beautiful joining of two lives.

After the vows were said, the party started!

Janelle and Trell, I wish you and your sweet little family the best in life! May you keep your laughter and love strong! Thank you so much for letting me share your perfect day with you!
